The old soles, heel blocks and top-pieces are removed. Fit new full soles, new heel blocks and top-pieces to match your shoe style e.g. as close to original specification as possible. Balance the new soles and heels (essential for your comfort and the life of the shoe). Carefully stitch or bond the new soles to the uppers, stain and finish the soles by hand. Clean, polish and re-finish the uppers by hand. Fit new calf leather seat socks inside your shoes if required.
