About us

 

The company was established in 1857 and there are currently 90 shops throughout the UK with sales turnover in excess of £80 million. The company has expanded into most of the key retail outlets, as well as high profile units within London, and there are plans for further expansion into other major shopping centres.

Job Title Description
Branch Manager To lead, manage and motivate an efficient sales team in order to maximise sales within the branch.
Assistant Manager To support the Branch Manager in the active leadership of the branch, and to be capable of deputising for the Branch Manager.
Head of Department/Supervisor To support the Branch Manager in the active management of the branch, and to be capable of deputising for the Branch/Assistant Manager.
Sales Advisor To work as part of an efficient sales team in order to maximise sales within the branch.

 

Training

 

The company is the proud owner of the Investors in People award, which reflects the commitment we have to our employees by investing in their development, and in return enabling the company to achieve its business objectives.

 

Appraisals are carried out on an annual basis to ensure that employees are developed to the best of their ability, and to highlight the potential of each individual.

 

On commencement of employment all employees will receive a full induction to the company to welcome them and ensure that they become an effective member of the team. Training Handbooks are issued to branch employees during their first week of employment and covers all aspects of the job.
