Here at Jones Bootmaker, we are currently looking for a positive and enthusiastic Store Manager to manage all aspects of running the store. As Store Manager, along with making sure sales targets are met, you will continue to make sure we are a profitable and successful business. We strongly believe by having a fabulous team behind you this can be achieved, so our Store Manager needs to be a real people person who can manage, motivate, engage, train and support the team so they are able to deliver amazing customer service and our customers walk away feeling amazing too.

Some of the duties of our Store Manager include delivering sales and conversion targets, making sure customers are a priority every day, lead by example and coach the team to deliver a service orientated culture, ensure your whole team deliver a positive atmosphere in store at all times, make your store a great place to work, achieve company KPIs, make commercial decisions about layout and product placement in your store in conjunction with your Regional Manager, review stock package regularly, continuously develop your team to ensure all are working to the required performance, implement company training programmes, ensure team members are given appropriate training and support to do their job effectively and manage wage costs within agreed targets.

So what do we require from our Store Manager?

Proven management experience in a retail environment is essential, an inspirational leader who can manage, lead and loves developing others, a team player, approachable, confident, passionate, able to bring fresh new ideas to the table, sales driven, motivated with excellent attention to detail, excellent customer service and communication skills, able to work under pressure, flexible to work evening and weekends and also be able to take on extra hours as required.

Here at Jones Bootmaker , we are currently looking for a positive and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support our Store Manager with all aspects of running the store and taking on the Store Managers responsibilities in their absence. We believe the role is an important one and comes with great responsibilities but also plenty of variety. One of the key aspects of the role is people management, working closely with the Store Manager and Supervisors to ensure that daily tasks in the store are carried out accurately and effectively and the team are motivated, engaged and working to the best of their ability.

Some of the duties of our Assistant Manager include making sure sales targets are met, overall performance of the store is where it needs to be, organising staff rotas, making sure staff hours are recorded so staff get paid correctly and managing a diverse group of people all with their own working styles, issues and needs, helping with recruitment and training of staff in store.

Some of the duties of our Supervisor include delivering sales and conversion targets, making sure customers are a priority every day, lead by example and coach the team to deliver a service orientated culture, ensure your whole team deliver a positive atmosphere in store at all times, make your store a great place to work, achieve company KPIs, help develop the team to ensure all are working to the required performance, and support with company training programmes to ensure team members do their job effectively.

Proven experience of team leadership, preferably in a retail environment is essential, an inspirational leader who can manage people, a team player, approachable, confident, passionate, sales driven, motivated to achieve targets with excellent attention to detail, excellent customer service and communication skills, able to work under pressure, flexible to work evening and weekends.

As the Senior Supervisor you are the one who leads by example especially with regards to sales and customer service.

You will support the Store and Assistant Manager and be responsible for opening and closing the store in their absence.
