MEET VICTORIA.

Cool, sustainable and ethical shoes which have taken the fashion set by storm. Seen on fashion influencers including Alexandra Pereira and Carla Campra, the sustainable trainers are easily recognised by their cool-girl low-cut silhouette and signature ‘V’ on the sides. Seen in publications across the world, Victoria’s classic style and sustainable ethos has quickly cemented its status as a shoe of the summer. Chic style and sustainable? We’re sold.

What are the origins of Victoria?

A story of true romance, in the small Spanish village of La Rioja, a shoemaker named Gregorio designed a pair of plimsolls. He named them after his first love, his wife, Victoria. Fast forward to 2021, and Victoria believes in order to make love last for years, over one hundred years in fact, you should take care of it day by day. It is this ethos which has created the contemporary and sustainable brand, Victoria.

Is Victoria a sustainable brand?

In the last one hundred years, Victoria has grown to a global company. However, they know the potential impact that we can have on our planet and are taking huge steps to keep their impact on the environment as minimal as possible. From opening ‘smart headquarters’ to producing a large part of their collections locally in order to decrease transportation, Victoria are doing their bit to reduce their footprint. Victoria trainers are made pair after pair by hand, crafted from 100% organic Spanish-grown cotton and natural rubber vulcanized soles.

Are Victoria trainers practical?

Yes! Victoria tells us that ‘the quality tests of [their] shoes make them suitable for all your adventures’. Victoria knows that the most environmentally friendly fashion are the pieces that have already been produced, thus making durability and long-lasting trainers their motivation.

What should I wear with my Victoria trainers?

Victoria trainers’ low-cut silhouettes make them a versatile and flexible trainer choice. Few trainers can compete with the classic low-cut neutral trainer, and Victoria’s offerings are a must-have for any capsule wardrobe. For off-duty days, pair your Victoria Barcelona trainers with distressed straight legged jeans and a vintage wash sweatshirt for Cali-girl cool. For summer parties, the Inglesa washed canvas trainers are the perfect pairing for floral midi dresses and breezy cottons, whilst the instantly recognisable Berlin trainers are ready for the office with a punchy blazer and white shirt.

Are Victoria trainers vegan?

Yes! Some styles of Victoria trainers, such as the Barcelona, are vegan. These trainers are made completely free of animal components, and feature a super innovative outsole made with vegetable oil instead of minerals. Plus, Victoria uses organic cotton canvas for their uppers and linings which is grown in Spain.

What are the different styles of Victoria trainers?

Berlin is a classic trainer, boldly branded with Victoria’s signature ‘V’ on the side.

Siempre is Berlin’s slightly chunkier older sister, finished with quirky contrasting colours.

Barcelona is an on-trend go-to for the warmer months, with canvas uppers and a ‘flatform’ outsole.

Inglesa is a sweet laceless trainer crafted from washed canvas in a delicate silhouette.
